The Belize Bicycle E-RIDER® Cruiser is a 26" wheel light alloy framed bicycle with a 500 watt electric rear wheel hub motor. The bike can reach a top speed of about 30kph. With performance like that you need powerful brakes so the E-Rider has disc brakes front and rear. The lightweight 36V-10Ah Lithium-ion power-pack will allow for up to 40 kilometers on a charge depending upon speed and conditions. Pedal assisting the motor will extend the range and help in hill climbing. The speed of the bike can be controlled with the twist throttle and, when pedalling, by changing the gears of the Shimano six speed transmission.
